Power Transformer Monitoring System

Power Transformer Monitoring System(PTMS)

Power Transformer Monitoring System

We offer a smart IoT-based monitoring solution for power transformers, designed to analyze moisture content, electrical, and physical parameters in real time. Built on IS 2026 transformer standards, our system ensures precise and reliable performance analysis.

The PTMS platform provides a live transformer health index on a proprietary dashboard, allowing users to monitor real-time transformer condition and take proactive maintenance actions to avoid failures.

To ensure seamless communication and data retrieval, we employ the IEC 61850 protocol. This protocol enables us to fetch the data from the transformer and transmit it securely using a VPN tunnel to your local server or SCADA system. This ensures that your data remains protected and allows you to access it conveniently from your preferred platform.

Additional Protection Features

OTI Alarm / Trip Status

Monitors Oil Temperature Indicator (OTI) to trigger alarms or trips when oil temperature crosses threshold limits, ensuring thermal protection.

WTI Alarm / Trip Status

Tracks Winding Temperature Indicator (WTI) for real-time winding temperature status, providing early warnings and shutdown commands when necessary.

MOG Alarm / Trip Status

Detects low oil levels via the Magnetic Oil Gauge (MOG) and generates alarms or trips to prevent insulation and cooling failures.

Buchholz Alarm / Trip Status

Monitors gas accumulation and oil movement inside the transformer to identify internal faults through the Buchholz relay system.

PRV Trip Status

Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) trip function detects abnormal pressure build-up and activates trip commands to prevent equipment damage.

OLTC Monitoring & Control

Monitors On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) operations including position status, contact wear, and timing analysis to optimize voltage regulation and maintenance planning.
